Homecoming dance at Burton was the first dance i have ever gone to in my life as a high school student.That night i went to my cousin Danielas house because from there i thought my boyfriend was going to give us a ride to Jackies house.She was going to do our hair and makeup.Me and my cousin were just getting ready and ate.When i called my boyfriend to pick us up he said “oh i can’t, My brother is drunk and i could only go with him”. My boyfriend has his permit and he could only drive with somebody with licence and his dad can’t because he is hadi capped. I was so mad so i told Daniela if her dad could drop us off to jackies house and her dad wasn’t at home and he didn’t have a phone.So i called Jackie if she could come and pick us up to go to her house and we could do to the dance all together.

My cousin Daniela let me borrow this movie called the Last King Of Scotland.I watched it because i remember it was a stretch mark if we seen it. When i seen the front cover of the movie i thought it was going to take place in Scotland and it was going to be about the king that died.On the front cover was a african American man.I wasn’t expecting the movie to be very good, but i actually liked it. The movie takes place in Africa.the main character is Idu Amin. He moves to Uganda to get rid of his father.I didn’t like the way they treated each other.I am a very sentimental person and i stareted crying at times.There wasn’t really nothing scottish about the main character.Idu Amin found out that one of his wives was cheating on him with his friend Nick Garrigan that is a physician. She got pregnant by nick and went to the clinic to get an abortion.garrigan loses faith in Amin.Kay gets prgnant with Garrigans baby. They said that if it was Amin baby she would get killed.She tells GArrigan if she could get an abortion.There was a hijacked Air france aircraft and Garrigan and Amin rush to the scene.garrigan gets brutally beaten by Amins people.President Amin discovers that Garrigan had a sexual relationship with his youngest wife.The sad part was when they hung garrigan from the chest. Whitaker played Idi Amin in the movie.I thought his performance was good.The movie was very intense at the end because of what happened to the physician.This reminds me of thewe were reading in class “in the time of the butterflies” because of all the dictatorship and how the sisters got killed.the same way how the Physician got killed by the king.The king reminds me of Trujillo.I would recommend this movie to people.

stretch mark boys and girls club

For my winterbreak i volunteered to work at the boys and girls club.My friend kimberley introduced me of this place called the boys and girls club.She asked me if i wanted to do some volunteering work.When i went for the first time there were many kids.I was talking to the lady that runned the place.I was told to help the little ones with their work.I like working with kids, they make me happy.There was a studio where people could make there own music.The school is located in the excelsior district.I knew many people that worked there.Most of the people working there were youngsters that were on probation and were prohibited to work there in order to make up what they did.This was the first time i have ever volunteered doing something.The kids made me happy and i was willing to go there just to see them.There was a game room and i usually would go there with the kids and play with them.All the kids would give me hugs and tell me to go with them places.I felt so good i don’t know why.There was a dance class especially for special ed kids.They were so fun.I helped them out with some dancing moves.I think that was the best part of being there.there were so many nice kids and the staff were so nice to me.I helped many of the kids with there homework,we did art.My dad wouldn’t believe me that i went there.The lady in charged of the place wanted to give me a job there, but i couldn’t because school was about to start and i didn’t have time.There was so much drama with some of the others who volunteered to work there.I stopped going because of all of that.I’m going to try to go again in the summer.

Me and my cousin Daniela baked double fudge brownies from scratch.We were on the phone talking about we should bake together one time.So i came up with the idea of double fudge brownies.I have never baked in my entire life, especially from scratch.The hardest part about baking the brownies were measuring because i wasn’t really prepared with the measuring instruments.The day before i was lokking online for recipes of how to make them.There were very easy recipes.I use too taste my cousins wife brownies.Hers came out chewy and flaky from the top.I got my hands dirty from mixing all the ingredients together.We brought the brownie mix.I didn’t know how much oil we were suppose to put in the batter.My cousin put a whole cup inside and i knew there was something wrong with that.I’m not really good at ovens because i feel like i’m going to burn down the house when it turns red.It’s not that hard anymore.When the brownies came out i didn’t really expect them to be so greasy.I was expecting the top of the brownie to be flaky, but they weren’t. My brother was making fun of them when they came out of the oven because they were very greasy.I had so much fun baking.They didn’t come out the way i wanted to, but as long as i had fun that’s all that matters.Now i know when i bake brownies again i’m not going to put a whole cup of oil.There were leftovers because nobody really wanted to eat them.I felt bad because it made me feel like a no good and that i can’t do nothing good.Sad to say but i didn’t really like them,all the oil was dripping out of my mouth and that wasn’t a great feeling.I’m going to try to make bake on my own now because i realized that baking isn’t so bad at all.

My first San francisco 49ers game i have ever went to.They played against the Seattle Seahawks on a Sunday.This was the first Niners game i have ever went to.My brothers are 49er fans.They don’t miss any games.I went with the wellness center from my school.There were other students from the school.I was going to go with the school, but meet up with all my brothers and their girlfriends at the parking lot. When we arrived at the stadium it was very nice and sunny.There were alot of people having bbq before the game.My brothers took the grill and alot of food to cook over there.All of my nephews were wearing the 49ers jersey and screaming ninos!They played at the Candlestick stadium.the stadium was like 5 minutes away from my house.It was very crowded and there were many people drinking beer and having a good time.I always thought the field was bigger, but i was surprised when i seen how small it was.I think i lost my voice at the game because of all the screaming and yelling i was doing cheering for the 49ers.I don’t know the way football is played but now i know more because i was paying close attention to the moves they were doing.i was so excited when they scored a touchdown.there were many niner fans going crazy every time they scored.We were sitting where the sun was hitting .I got a very bad sunburn and i looked like a red tomatoe.My nephews were worst thn me.now i know next time to put on more sun lotion before the game.The food in the stadium was very expensive.I wanted to buy some nachos but i rather save my money because we had food at the car anyways.I seen alot of people i knew and they were excited too.I was so happy that they won and that’s what made my first football game the best ever!

i finally got the new jordans that just came out and that was a bad experience.It was the day before Christmas and the new jordans called space jams were barely going to come out worldwide.the whole worl has been waiting for those too come out because they are limited edition.My brother said he was going to get them and i said if i could go with him because i wanted them.I didn’t go to sleep at all.i was so excited to get them.I stayed up till 4:a.m waiting for my brother to wake up.I texed him and called him and he wouldn’t wake up at all.I was so mad and in my head i was like i know we are not going to get them.2 days before the jordans were going to come out my brother had got the wristband to get the shoes at footlocker.The wrisband is to get the shoes before anybody else who doesn’t have them.I told my brother that we should go to stonestown because there isn’t nobody.When we arrived to stonestown there were alot of polices and There was a long line from the entrance to the mall to the other side of the mall.I wasn’t expecting the line to be long but we were the last ones.When new shoes come out people camp outside the whole night.We didn’t do that because the day before we were at my uncles house.When they finally opened the doors all the footlocker workers and securities were holding people back.They announced that the first 40 people were going to get the shoes and people with a card to champs.We didn’t have that.So we went to serramonte and there were even more people there.There were people shoving each other out the way and scraeming.We finally got the shoes because we sneaked in.Alot of people came out crying because they didn’t have there sizes.This was my first experience waking up soe arly for the shoes.This was on the news and world wide.

I learned alot this samester.I learned about all the different types of crimes, steps to making an essay and hot to do quote analysis.This class was very stressful because we had alot of assignments to complete, but the good thing is that we got to turn in the work later.I learned about stretch marks and how to create a vocabulary journal.The stretch marks were fun because we got to do stuff we have never done.The vocabulary wasn’t that bad.I didn’t really like writing esaays because they are hard and i don’t know how to start it off.We read a bokk in the time of the butterlies and that was okay.It was about 4 sisters and one died .I thought we were going to have more presentations but we didn’t,just like one or two.I would like to take this class for another semester because i learned alot of new things.I learned how to get along with all my classmates and to do all my work on time.I also learned a new thing called a socratic seminar.Those were bad for me because i never had nothing really to say.They were stressful and kind of boring.Next semester im going to have advanced comprehension.I don’t really like english but i sure liked this class.

This is the first time i’ve been to this so called “black Friday”.On thursday my mother was telling me we are for sure going to for black friday.Black friday is when everything is on sell and the mall opens at 4 in the morning.I was awake the whole night excited about the idea of black friday.When it hit 3:a.m i thought my mom was going to be awake, but she was still asleep and i was so mad. We were going to go with my brother.when i seen my moms phone there were so many missed calls from my brother.Finally my mom woke up and she called my brother.He said that he was already at the mall and that everthing was on sell.My mom asked me if i wanted to go in the bus and i said ugh okay.It was like 5 a.m and we were waiting in the cold for the 9 and it never came.I was wearning sweats and some boots.So the 9x came and we took bart instead.We decided to go to downtown better.I thought there wasn’t going to be nobody but when i got there there were alot of people.They had alot of Macy’s bags and other store bags.Downtown was very crowded and all the stores too. The first store we went to was Macy’s.My mom bought alot of baby clothes for my nephews and neice.I’m the type of girls that get excited when i see stores.I get crazy and i want anything i see.That day i got my jordans that i wanted.i thought that there weren’t going to be anymore.When i walked into champs they had alot of pairs.I did expect the mall to be packed.I can’t wait for the next black friday.I had so much fun shopping.I got irritated though but it was worth it.After all the shopping and walking i was so tired and we catched the bus and i was relieved when i got home.

It was a Saturday and me my boyfriend and his brother were planning to do something the whole day.We went to Bakers beach by the golden gate bridge.On our way over there we were hungry and stopped at the liquor store to get snacks. When we got there there were many people in bikinis.There were some people making a film about lovers.We were sitting there watching them and eating our food.I asked my boyfriend,”isn’t this a nude beach”?He said “it is”.I wasn’t really paying attention to the other side of the beach.When i turned around i spot a naked man. We walked all around the beach and when we hit the other side that’s where we seen all the nude people.I said to myself?How can they just walk around and lay down in the public naked?I wouldn’t think alot of people would be nude.I think they should close that beach because many kids go to that beach and they shouldn’t expose too much. For my first experience i thought the beach was nice but the sand was dirty because many of the nude men and women pee on the sand.There was alot of oral sex going on and other sexual contact.I would have thought that alcohol was prohibited in beaches like that but there were many people with beer in there hand.The nice thing was there was a nice view of the Golden Gate bridge.Ther were many nude people jogging across the beach like if it was nothing.I was shocked to see all of this.my boyfriend was jelouse because he thought i was watching the naked people.The funny thing was that most of them were gay.Many people were littering. There wera alot of homeless people laying in the beach acting like that was there home.The worst thing about it all was that there was no parking and my man parked his car like a mile away.

it was saturday morning and it was the virgen de guadalupe day.Me and all my family went to Our Lady of Visitacion church to celebrate her birthday.My parents woke me up at 5 in the morning to go with them.I was lazy to go because i didn’t feel like walking.When we went to the church there were hundreths of people.Everybody was wrapped up in warm clothes because it was raining hard. I was surprised to see alot of people.I seen the nice picure of Guadalupe.Every year they make a play of Juan Diego and mary.They dress up as them an act out the story.The play always makes me cry because its so sad how Pontious Pilate kills jesus in the play and how they pretend to hit him.There was a mariachi there and it was nice how they did the entrance and started singing the mananitas. The mananitas song always makes me cry because they sang it so nice and the sounds of the guitars.There were people taking turns reading papers.After the church part was finished they gave us each a candle and we lit it up to give respect to te virgen de guadalupe.There were two people holding the picture and statue of her and carrying it around while we all followed.We walked around the whole block like 3 times .It was raining hard and i was very tired.It was worth it because i wanted to show respect to guadalupe.While we were walking the mariachi was playing different songs. It was beautifl.After the cerimony There were tamales atole and other mexican food.it was very nice though.When i got home i was very sore of all the walking and sitting down.my clothes were wet because of all the heavy rain.It was a nice morning.There was other walks in other communities but i dr\ecided to go to this one because its my church.
